Hey, that's fun! Thanks for sharing your musical associations! :)
I added a Mahalia Jackson song on my Christmas playlist on imeem this past December. When I played it one morning before Christmas my husband said it was the most beautiful rendition of the song he had ever heard and wondered who it was. She was an amazing singer. Was there anyone who had better stage presence than Michael Hutchence from INXS? (I know you say yes the Police) This gave me a nice musical break while preparing dinner. Thank you!
Wow, great tunes! I'm partial to the Mandrell, The Police, and the INXS this time around. :)
I haven't heard that Barbara Mandrell song forever. Very nice! And I'd been thinking, I would have included The Police's "Mother" on my list too . . . But I would have put it under the 'Horrid' category. :)
Great list!
Amazing Grace is indeed AMAZING, especially on Apollo Records 78 vinyl.
Awesome Videos!!! Love it. I also said Amazing Graze for Inspirational.
